Committed to innovation and client satisfaction, our team of experts strives to unlock the potential of technology for our valued clients Responsibilities: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus mainly on frontend development while also contributing to backend tasks as needed. Your primary goal is to ensure the successful delivery of current initiatives, particularly the Shared Threads and Comments project while maintaining a 70/30 balance between frontend and backend responsibilities. Responsibilities: Handle all duties of a Senior Engineer: Demonstrate expertise in frontend development, particularly with React Utilize your 8+ years of development experience to provide insights and mentorship within the team. Take ownership of medium-scale problems, from design to implementation, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices. Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating suggestions effectively. Delivery of Current Initiatives: Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements for the Shared Threads and Comments project. Implement user interface components according to the provided design documents. Maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable Typescript code, following coding standards and best practices. Document implemented features thoroughly and participate in team meetings to communicate progress and challenges. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, mobile, and product management to ensure alignment with project requirements. Work closely with Multiplayer pod engineers to enhance existing systems and design patterns supporting team email collaboration for the client. Provide regular progress updates and actively participate in team activities and discussions. Fullstack Responsibilities: Contribute to backend tasks as needed, focusing on basic knowledge and support for backend development. Maintain a 70/30 balance between frontend and backend responsibilities , prioritizing frontend tasks while providing support on backend tasks when required. NOTE: The app is currently built using Golang on the backend and ReactJS on the frontend Deliverables: Deliver assigned areas of the Shared Threads and Comments project with accurate time estimates, high code quality, and velocity in line with typical Senior Engineer expectations.Collaborate with the team on implementing features and technical design, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and mobile platforms.Work on bug fixes and app improvements to enhance the overall user experience. Requirements: Must-have: 8+ years of development experience with a focus on front-end technologies. Proficiency in React, Typescript Basic knowledge and experience with backend technologies such as Golang, Ruby, or Python and database management with Postgres. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of projects. Nice-to-have: Experience with mobile development languages/frameworks such as iOS, Swift, Android, or Kotlin. Previous experience with Electron / Chrome Extensions development. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but candidates with non-traditional backgrounds will also be considered based on experience and skills.
